Heartaid provides Mobile Cardiac Screening to schools, clubs & organisations. Up to 100 young people die from sudden adult death syndrome (SADS) each year in Ireland. Heartaid provides an onsite doctor led cardiac screening service to help prevent sudden cardiac death and give peace of mind. Heartaid is currently working with the Gaelic Players Association (GPA) & is providing cardiac screening to all senior inter-county GAA teams across Ireland. A smartphone application that puts you directly in contact with the nearest taxi, wherever you are in the world. The solution is a location aware, real-time smartphone application that allows consumers to pick a nearby taxi on a map, view driver details (e.g., photo, vehicle type, languages spoken, payment types accepted etc.) and initiate contact with them (phone, instant-messaging, VoIP etc.).

From the taxi point of view, they are notified when a consumer has selected them and once they agree to accept the fare they are shown the location of the consumer and contact information is exchanged.
