The Rubicon Centre

Paul joined the Rubicon Centre in 2005, and is responsible for the operation of the Centre.

Paul works on a one to one basis with Entrepreneurs guiding them through the start-up process.  He also holds responsibility for Programme Management of the Enterprise Start Programme since its start-up in 2005.

Paul has worked for over 15 years in developing Technology start-ups from concept to market place. He has also held roles in Supply Chain Management in the Electronics and Pharmaceutical Multinational Sector before moving into the Enterprise Development and Support sector.

Maeve joined in 2006 and is responsible for Financial Administration and Client Support on a day to day basis.

Prior to joining the Rubicon Centre Maeve held Financial Accounting Support roles in the Telecoms Sector.

 

George joined the Rubicon Centre in 2012 as the Operations Manager and is responsible alongside with Paul for the operation of the Centre.

His role as the Operations Manager is to ensure that the facility and all its equipment are functional and operational and all the client’s needs are satisfied. He is also responsible for all company policies and procedures.

George has worked for over casino online 25 years in start-up, established and Multinational companies. He has held various roles as Operations Manager, Manufacturing Manager and General Manager in sectors such as Medical Devices, Serviced Offices, Document & Records Management and Electronics.

Padraig heads up the Beacon Initiative, a 3 way partnership between Cork County Council, the Enterprise Boards and the Rubicon Centre to create links between Industry and CIT.

He is an experienced Entrepreneur and Mentor and previously headed up both the Genesis and PINC programmes.

Padraig also has extensive commercial experience in the insurance industry including the role of M.D for a prominent Cork Brokerage. He is the holder of the  QFA designation ( Qualified Financial Advisor )

As the Rubicon Centre’s Case Manager Peter possess public and private sector experience in Ireland and overseas.

Peter’s previous roles included:
•    Life Sciences Ireland Manager, Irish Exporters Association
•    Corporate Services Manager, Bahrain International Investment Park
•    Project Manager, Enterprise Development, NovaUCD
•    Training Programme Manager, CorkBIC

He is responsible for all the Rubicon Centre Entrepreneurial Programmes including; New Frontiers, PINC & EnterpriseSTART.

He has worked with a large number of early stage knowledge based companies across a range of business sectors. A former Chairman of the Bahrain Irish Business Network, Peter is a member of the Asia Pacific Ireland Business Forum and holds a B.A., M.B.S (Entrepreneurialism) and a Dip. in Financial Management.
